Produktbeschreibung
FBI Agent William Henry suspects but cannot yet prove that a widespread, well-organized killer cult is at work within the borders of our country - a cult whose power grows after repeated acts of shocking violence. The fifteen year veteran of the fabled Behavioral Analysis Unit must overcome official skepticism and the disintegration of his marriage, to investigate a slim, but highly compelling clue.

Soon, Henry's protégé Agent Amy Gold comes to share his suspicion. The beautiful and highly skilled granddaughter of Holocaust survivors, Gold has learned to be wary of social trends that could lead to the rebirth of a mind-numbing evil - Nazism and the Final Solution.

The agents embark on an independent investigation, which begins with a horrid discovery in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; is reborn at the site of a devastating mass murder; and culminates days after a siege on a religious compound in Texas ends in tragedy. Their investigation will lead to open military conflict in the American heartland.

Wildfire also tells the story of Marie Havinga, the last piece in Henry's case, a semi-catatonic mental patient who escaped the clutches of a killer cult five years earlier, and will soon have to face her tormentor unarmed and alone.

First published in 2013 and taking place in 1991, this novel could not be more timely than it is today.
