However, despite the 'journey/quest' elements, it is much more a 'life lessons' story.

Geoffrey M. Metcalf is a former Green Beret and retired Army Lieutenant Colonel. He is a long time major market and nationally syndicated radio talk show host and columnist. His first novel, The Terrorist Killers was published in 1989. He is a recipient of the NRA Defender of Freedom Award, the Eagle Forums media Person of the Year and numerous community and industry awards. He lives in Sacramento, California with is wife Linda, and son, Chandler.
