The author was diagnosed in 1997 and through trial and error struggled for stability and quality in his life. Quality medical care has made a huge difference, but I still miss a normal life. And for those thinking I have a firm grasp on my illness, patience is still a huge struggle for me when I have set backs. Yes, there always seems to be unexpected setbacks.
