More importantly, be assured that God bears the anguish of our pain and walks with us as we face the fiery ordeals of our lives.

The Reverend. Dr. Samson N. Gitau is adjunct professor of humanities at the University of Memphis, Tennessee. A graduate of Yale Divinity School and Boston University, Dr. Gitau doubles up as an ordained priest in the Anglican of Kenya, serving churches in the Episcopal Church in the United States. Dr. Gitau is also the founder of the International Community Christian Church, serving the Diaspora community in Memphis.

Dr. Gitau is a prolific writer and has published several books and articles on Christian life in contemporary society. Some of Dr. Gitau's publications include: Breaking the Shackles: Contemporary Perspectives in Paul's Letter to the Galatians, Under the Wings, Reflections in the Book of Ruth, One Boat one Destiny: A Study in the Book of Jonah, Pitfalls: A Case for College Ministry.
