The Battle of the Bulge...the Watch on the Rhine...the Ardennes Offensive...whatever name is used for this epic battle, it involved over a million men and was the largest land battle that the U.S. Army was involved in during World War II. Witness To War is fictional account of a female news correspondent who finds herself embedded with a US platoon on the front lines during this incredible saga of the last ditch effort by the German Army to turn the tide of WWII. It is a tale that strikes a true chord in attempting to deal with the nature and the horror of warfare.

CHUCK BRODELL has been writing and illustrating comics since he was 13 years old. Those early efforts have, thankfully. disappeared into a black hole. In later years he has worked for Caliber Press, Malibu Comics, Brainstorm Comics, Alpha Productions, TSR, Steve Jackson Games. etc. His graphic novels include Witness to War, Lunatic Fringe, and Mean Street. He currently lives in Montana, and spends a lot of time searching for the illusive two-headed Cutthroat Trout and avoiding encounters with any kind of bear. DON LOMAX was drafted into the army in the fall of 1965. In 1966 he was deployed to Vietnam, serving in the 98th Light Equipment Company. During his tour of duty he made notes and sketches that would become his reference material for the Harvey Award-nominated VIETNAM JOURNAL. In addition to VIETNAM JOURNAL, Lomax contributed stories to TWO-FISTED TALES, created the mini-series HIGH SHINING BRASS about covert operations in Vietnam, and was also the the writer for 'THE NAM and THE PUNISHER for Marvel Comics. Lomax has four children. His two sons are in the military, one a Chinook crew chief and the second a Green Beret in the First Special Forces Group. Lomax lives in Illinois with his wife Zenadia.
