Seminar paper from the year 2014 in the subject Engineering - Naval Engineering, Ocean Engineering, grade: 1,7, University of Applied Sciences Braunschweig / Wolfenbüttel; Salzgitter, language: Lithuanian, abstract: With the rapid development of mobile devices, especially their performance, the possibilities of navigation with these devices are increasing. There are still many opportunities, especially in the area of ¿¿indoor navigation. The problem is that the GPS signal is not available inside the buildings, so navigation with normal applications is not possible because they no longer receive a signal from the satellites, so the position of the mobile device can no longer be determined. This problem is solved by using the technical variants of indoor navigation that are explained in this article. However, the possibilities for indoor navigation are also problematic, so the value of acquiring many technologies is high, as map material needs to be obtained first, and it usually needs to be digitized first. In many areas, technology also needs to be modernized to actually achieve the desired performance. Positioning accuracy is also important, so it is important that the technology can provide high accuracy in position calculation.
