In the context of neutrality, this book deals with the position of women in the pre -Islamic era, with the available historical sources that touched on the study of women. As for the aspects that Zayat worked on studying and showing them in this book, they were in two aspects that have no third: 1- Physical life: The lifestyle in general: The woman in the pre-Islamic era has done the work of camels and water, selling ghee, dates, goodness, and others. As for singing, the silks of the nose were what caused them to raise it, and within the framework of the dress, the silks were distinguished by the love of jewelry, goodness and elegance, and some of them were taking the veil, and some of them were the faces of the face. 2- Literary Life: The woman occupied a prominent position in the heart of the pre-Islamic man, in which he organized poems with great words. And some of them were the correspondence of men without a veil between them. Similar to neutrality, Al -Zayat stands as a stick from the center, where he refers to those who lead their daughters for fear of poverty or shame, one or both of them (from spending or captivity due to the nature of the tribal invasions that time) The Christian and Asasa bin Najia, the grandfather of Al -Farazdaq, referring to the presence of those who honored his daughters and suffered for the least pain of pain, and he was not afraid of poverty or a shame. The phenomena also indicate the presence of chastity among the women of the pre -Islamic times as a girl, the daughter of Kez, called chaste, and in contrast to that there are those who invited themselves to immorality. Al -Zayat stands in the summary of the woman's description in the pre -Islamic era, confused about the pride of the majority of them and the integrity and its refusal to be merely the subject of whims of the man, and denounces the man at that time the rushing circular to all women and degradation of their destiny in view of all women from the same perspective (because there is a few few She followed her whims) and attributes this to the extreme jealousy that surrounded the pre -Islamic Arabic.
