Please Note: This is an unofficial companion guide mean to enhance your appreciation of Hook, Line, and Sinker: A Novel by Tessa Bailey and does not contain any text of the original book.
Tessa Bailey, dubbed the "Michelangelo of filthy language" by Entertainment Weekly, writes with flavor, energy, swoon, and a promise of a happy ever after in every story she writes. Bailey was born in Carlsbad, California, and went to high school in the same city. Sensing that something was lacking in her life, she moved to New York shortly after finishing her high school education and began working at a bar in Manhattan. It was inside those four walls that she met her husband and best friend and found the joy of classic rock while simultaneously managing to complete both her English degree at Pace University and the English program at Kingsborough Community College. Following that, she made countless unsuccessful efforts to get into journalism. Ultimately, romance writing proved to be her calling.
Bailey is the author of the New York Times bestselling series Hot and Hammered, a full-on romance novel in its own right. She has authored many more books, including the Tools of Engagement, Love Her or Lose Her, Fix Her Up, Disturbing His Peace, and Indecent Exposure. Her family has relocated to Brooklyn, New York, where she lives with her husband of seven years and their three-year-old daughter. The fact that she is fulfilling her passion of writing about people falling in love, despite being very sleep-deprived, makes her extremely happy.
