He wrote a book to help them consider the sayings of the first imams of criticism regarding the narrator. The one who examines their statements will not find it easy for all narrators to reach a clear level in the narrator, as they may have disagreed, or even the words of the one critic may have differed. Therefore, he needs rules and regulations to follow in order to reach this level. This matter was realized by many imams before us, who came after the era of the first critics, such as Ibn al-Salah, al-Dhahabi, Ibn Hajar, and al-Sakhawi. They judged narrators according to rules and controls that appeared to them, and these rules and controls remained spread in their books, in need of someone to organize them into one line. , detailed and organized, and this is what Sheikh Al-Halima did in this book. Adding to it what appeared to him during his teaching of wounds and modifications. The Sheikh's book: Controls of Jarh and Ta'deel was printed for the first time at the Islamic University of Medina, where the Scientific Council chose it among the books that the university prints. This edition was sold out a long time ago, so it was necessary to reprint the book, as there were so many people asking about it, it is more than just a book. It is distinguished scientifically in its chapter. The Sheikh wrote it in a way that is closest to the academic syllabus, with more division, paragraph placement, and support with applied examples. Thus, it came true to the desire of the specialized researcher, close to the novice student of knowledge in this art. Although the book is known for practical examples of the controls mentioned by the Sheikh, it needs special examples, in which the controls are applied together - or as many of them as possible to a single opinion, and this is what Sheikh Tahmala did when he prepared a protective study on one of the many different narrators. He is Israel bin Yunus bin Abi Ishaq Al-Subaie, in which he presented all the sayings of the imams, then he studied them and concluded from them the most correct opinion regarding this narrator, using in his study of him what he explained of the controls of this book, and thus demonstrated the goal that Daei was aiming for, which is to These controls remain memorized and repeated without much benefit if they are not accompanied by practical application, and this is what he was keen on with his students and in his lessons, and it was very appropriate for him to include a translation of: "Israel bin Yunus" in the book of controls in its new edition, for the purpose of disseminating the desired benefit from it. And to make it easier for students of knowledge, I swear to God - He is the Most Benevolent and Most Gracious - I ask that the Sheikh be rewarded with the best reward for what he has given to knowledge and its people, in teaching and writing, and that He include us and me with His vast mercy, for He is the Hearer and the Answerer.
