It was praised by the scholar Ahmad Pasha Taymur, who said, addressing its author: "I read your book "The Writer's Remembrance" and carefully considered it in compliance with your advice, not to overstep the ruling on something similar. You have benefited and been completely correct in what you intended, for I am only saying it according to what has appeared to me, and to which my knowledge has reached, and above every person with knowledge there is a Knower." Professor Abdul Qadir al-Mughrabi said about the book: "It is one of the best books that have been written on this subject in terms of the abundance of its materials, the brevity of its expression, and its good indication of the places of truth, after its indication of the places of error."
