Autorenporträt
Zevia Schneider was Associate Professor: Research and Co-ordinator of Higher Degrees by Research in the Faculty of Nursing at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University, and then Director of Post Graduate Studies in the Faculty of Education. She has co-authored 5 editions of Nursing & Midwifery Research: methods and appraisal for evidence-based practice, with the 5th edition published in 2016. She has been involved in a range of funded research projects including pregnancy, ante-natal services, early discharge from hospital, distance education, and program evaluation.

She has been an invited guest speaker, including an invitation from the Ministry of Education in Brunei to conduct a workshop for community health nurses. She has presented papers at national and international conferences. She completed a PhD in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. Her research area is pregnancy, in particular, pregnant couples' educational role as educator of their infant.
