Autorenporträt
Hiroyuki Toda has been a distinguished professor at Kyushu University, Japan since 2013. He leads a research group exploring materials strength & characterization in 3D/4D. A major focus is the exploration of the microstructure-property relations of structural materials utilizing synchrotron X-ray microtomography technique. He has authored and co-authored more than 400 academic papers and 8 books. His honors include twelve best paper prizes from academic societies/publishers, and Commendation for Science and Technology by the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
