Tyler wasn't the kind of man to intervene in a personal matter unless someone was in danger, but the woman standing in the coffee shop doorway looking like a scattered and shocked deer in headlights had him rethinking his position and he figured he could make an exception. After all, he couldn't leave the until the three people barring the exit moved.
The fact that she was the prettiest mess he'd ever seen might've had a little something to do with it. Could also have been that she'd ordered more than one large coffee for herself and he was fascinated by a woman needing that much caffeine before eight in the morning.
