Autorenporträt
Michael Joosten is a children’s book writer and editor living in New York with his nugget-like Chihuahua, Olive. Monge Lua is a Brazilian children’s book illustrator who has been drawing since he was little, on Sunday afternoons with his brothers and sisters. In his artwork, Monge likes to explore textures and colors and to draw different body types, kids, grannies, and animals—especially bears. Monge studied graphic design and fine arts. Monge has worked for a lot of self-publishers. When he’s not drawing, you can find him watching horror movies, listening to true crime podcasts, reading manga, or playing with his dog, Sky.
