Autorenporträt

Bever-leigh Banfield, M.F.A. is a writer, actress, voice-over artist, producer, host, and speaker. She holds a masters degree from the Yale University School of Drama and a B.A. from Stanford University and has penned numerous celebrity interviews, the most popular of which, published in Essence magazine, won the American Diabetes Association National Media Award for journalism. As an actress, Ms. Banfield has performed in many television shows, movies, national commercials and Broadway theater productions, and is perhaps best known for her gripping portrayal of the life of author Alex Haley's grandmother, Cynthia Harvey-Palmer, in ROOTS: The Next Generations, one of the top ten most-watched TV broadcasts of all time. Her voice is heard in TV and radio ads, cartoons, animated films, movie narrations, network announcements, live planetarium space shows, and her own debut non-fiction audiobook. She has studied in Europe, lived in the Caribbean, and traveled in Africa, South America, and across the United States. She adores nature, and is passionate about photography, jewelry, and handbag design, and fabricating interior home items. Bever-leigh has been gifted with psychic perception since childhood and is able to see events past, present and future beyond her five senses.
