Autorenporträt
Shawn Funk lives and works in Fort M'Murray, a mining town in Northern Alberta with his beautiful wife Raileen. He is the father of three grown children Kayla, Darien, Connor and four step-children Rikki, Ashliegh, Derrick and Brandon. In 2011, Shawn discovered the worlds best preserved armoured dinosaur fossil (google Shawn Funk Dinosaur). "Your Great Name" is his first published book of poetry. The theological, historical, and philosophical juxtaposition of finding a 110 million year old fossil compelled Shawn to gather this collection of poems that celebrate the creator of all things. Some of the poems were written before and some after the eventful day, it is the authors hope that "Your Great Name" will bring inspiration and comfort to all his readers wherever they find themselves in their faith journey.
