Joan Moriarity has been playing tabletop games since shortly after she learned to speak. She has worked in the tabletop game industry for two decades; after eight years of recommending and teaching games at Snakes & Lattes in Toronto, she has begun writing and speaking about the magic of games and the power of playfulness. Her work has appeared in The Walrus and she has lectured at the University of Toronto and the Linden School. She firmly believes that 4E was the best edition of Dungeons & Dragons, and she will fight you.
