Housing is a major contributor to CO2 emissions in Europe and America today. The construction of new homes offers an opportunity to begin to address this issue. Jo Williams is a Senior Lecturer in sustainable development at University College London, where she is the Director of the Sustainable Urbanism Masters Programme. She is also the Principal Investigator for the Zero Carbon Homes project and is an expert contributor to various international advisory bodies in the field of sustainable development.
