Auf der Suche nach der wahren Liebe sieht Blaine als Kolumnist von "USA Togay" täglich, was es heißt, in einer oberflächlichen Metropole wie Los Angeles zu leben: Aussehen ist alles. Eines Tages trifft der Romantiker auf einer Dating-Website den eben erst zugezogenen Cowboy Xander. Mit dem niedlichen Musiker scheint der scheue Schreiberling endlich einen Volltreffer gelandet zu haben. Zu spät bemerkt Blaine, dass er sich unter dem Profil seines promiskuitiven Mitbewohners Cameron eingeloggt hat. Nicht genug der falschen Fährte, bittet er den Männer verschlingenden GoGo-Tänzer Cameron, an seiner Stelle zum ersten Treffen zu erscheinen. Das kann nicht gut gehen - oder doch?
