This is one of the most peculiar works of the outstanding Austrian psychologist Viktor Frankl. The author considers the unconscious desire for religiosity as inherent in all people. In this case, not necessarily belong to any denomination and somehow adjust to the requirements of a particular religion. The desire manifests itself in a person's thoughts and actions, as well as in dreams. An intermediate step to conscious religiosity is the phenomenon of conscience, which the scholar views as an organ of meaning. Here for the first time Frankl introduces the concept of super-meaning and examines the relationship of man with this incomprehensible reality. "The Subconscious God" is one of Victor Frankl's most important works and will be useful to anyone interested in human psychology or who deals with psychotherapy professionally.
