Her world of fauns, nymphs, dwarves, and other mythical creatures must remain myths to the more populated human world to remain safe. And the wer-im, or werecats, who burned the dryad's trees long ago, are never to be trusted again. But now a wer-im is warning them that humans are not only capturing mythics, but experimenting on them for scientific advancement. He wants to forge alliances to survive. Jennifer M Zeiger grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado exploring every tree and cave she could find. Each new adventure fed her imagination, and, when she went to college, she was one of the rare students who knew exactly what degree she wanted because writing was her passion. As you can guess, in 2008 she earned her Bachelor's degree in English. And she's still exploring the world, expanding her horizons from Colorado to include everything from Washington State where the trees grow like giants to South Carolina where it's a battle to keep the bugs from taking over!
