Linda K. Wertheimer is an award-winning education writer and essayist. She was previously the education editor of the Boston Globe and a reporter at the Dallas Morning News and Orlando Sentinel. Her work has appeared in numerous publications, including the Washington Post, Time, USA Today, and the Boston Globe Magazine. A graduate of Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism, she lives in Lexington, Massachusetts.
