Courtney Ellis graduated from Wheaton College, Loyola University of Chicago, and Princeton Theological Seminary. Before following God's call to ministry, she trained to be an English literature professor. She is currently a co-pastor with her husband at a Presbyterian church, where he is the brainiac and she is the storyteller. They reside in southern California with their two children.
