Caroline Säfstrand is a writer from Helsingborg in the south of Sweden. She is the author of ten novels. Her books are published in several countries and have been nominated for various book awards. The Oyster Diver's Secret won the Feelgood of the Year Award in Sweden in 2023, and it's her first novel to be translated into English. Caroline loves to write about the secrets and people at life's crossroads, and she imbues her stories with warmth and depth. She lives with her husband, two sons, and two dogs.
