Steven Pinker is the Johnstone Family Professor in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University. He is the author of several books, including The Language Instinct, How the Mind Works, The Stuff of Thought, and The Better Angels of Our Nature. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
