The first ever official Agatha Christie Calendar celebrates the world's favourite female detective, Miss Jane Marple, with fourteen paintings by the latest Marple book cover artist, Bill Bragg.
Miss Marple was first introduced to readers in a story Christie wrote for The Royal Magazine in 1927 and made her first appearance in a full-length novel in 1930's The Murder at the Vicarage.
It is nearly 50 years since Agatha Christie's last Miss Marple novel was published, but in 2022 a new book of short stories written by twelve accomplished Christie devotees is bringing the world's favourite female detective back into the limelight. It is entitled simply MARPLE.
To coincide with the new book, artist Bill Bragg has painted new covers for all 14 of Agatha Christie's Marple books, and this new wall calendar collects them all in one glorious publication, allowing crime fiction fans to share in the delights of St Mary Mead and beyond throughout 2023!
