The golden age of railroading is captured in this year's Great Trains Calendar. Renowned trains and locomotives from the large B&O's 2-8-8-4 EM-1, UP's ex-C&O H-7 2-8-8-2, UP's 4-8-4 and 4-12-2, and the PRR 4-4-4-4 T1a. Streamlined steam with the Milwaukee F-7 4-6-4 on the Olympian Hiawatha and the UP 7002 4-8-2 on the 49er are depicted, as well as small steam from the diminutive narrow gauge RGS 2-8-0 and EBT 2-8-2 to the ND&C 4-4-0. The famous PRR GG-1 is also shown pulling the Manhattan Limited, as well as NYC's famous 4-6-4 on the point of the 20th Century Limited; they are painted and historically documented by artist Gil Bennett.
