Die Lighthouse Family hat sich 2002 aufgelöst und bietet hier zum Abschluß eine gelungene Zusammenfassung über die drei Alben ihrer Schaffensphase. Als Vertreter des Easy Listening war nichts anderes als "Radio tauglich" Pop-Musik zu erwarten und dieses haben Lighthouse Family auch immer so
umgesetzt.

Mit Hits wie Lifted, High, Postcards from heaven und natürlich dem sehr gelungen U2 Cover FREE waren Lighouse Family in den Hitparaden und diese Stücke sind wirklich angenehm zu hören. Vor allem das U2 Cover ist sehr gut umgesetzt und versprüht einen gewissen Charme in dieser Version. Die Stimme des Sängers Tunde Emanuel Baiyewu hat einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert und geht wirklich ins Ohr.
Auf dem Album sind außer allen Singles der Gruppe auch drei neue Titel: Absolutely everything, I could have loved you und Ain't no sunshine. Und tatsächlich, es handelt sich bei Ain't no sunshine um eine weitere Cover Version, diesmal von Bill Withers Welthit. Einfach unglaublich, wie emotional dieser Song gecovert wurde und hier haben sie auch einen Tiefgang ohne "Feinwaschmittel" erreicht, den man sich vielleicht auch bei mehreren Song gewünscht hätte. Für mich ist es einfach der Song der CD.
Insgesamt ein Album das sich im CD Regal nett macht, aber mehr "nice to have", als ein unbedingtes "muß". Wer nichts von der Lighthouse Family hat ist hier super bedient.
