Irrtum: Blue Note Records hat jetzt in seinen Archiven die kompletten Aufnahmen der legendären Konzertreihe gefunden und ist somit in der Lage, eine opulente, komplette 8-CD-Box zu veröffentlichen! Ein Traum für alle Verehrer des Trompeters und des klassischen Blue-Note-Sounds. Zu hören ist Morgan mit seinem Quintett, bestehend aus Saxophonist Bennie Maupin, Pianist Harold Mabern, Bassist Jymie und Schlagzeuger Mickey Roker. Die Musik wurde in den Capitol Studios von den originalen 4-Spur-Bändern remastert. Die acht CDs befinden sich in Digipaks, die in einer stabilen Capbox untergebracht sind.
