David Kyeu has in the past taught Swahili as a foreign language at the University of Florida, Brown University and the University of Wisconsin. He is a past recipient of the prestigious Fulbright Scholarship, Swedish International Development Agency Award and the University of Wisconsin Academic Initiative Award. David is the author of Swahili Noun Classes: Your Friendly Workbook and Guide text and has also published an article on Swahili Assessment with the Journal of African Language Teachers Association (JALTA). David is also a board member of the Global Association of Promoting Swahili (GAPS / CHAUKIDU)
