Autorenporträt
Isabella Bêrîvan wurde in Österreich, als Tochter eines Kurden und einer Österreicherin, geboren. Eine Kindheit in Österreich. Nichtsdestotrotz konnten die wenigen Monate, die sie mehrmals im kurdischen Hochland verbringen konnte, einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen. - Eine große Zuneigung zur kurdischen Sprache wurde entfacht! Aus einem intellektuellen Elternhaus stammend, blieb ihr der Zugang zu Literatur und Sprachen nicht verwehrt. Über die Jahre entstand jedoch immer mehr der Wunsch sich intensiv mit den eigenen Wurzeln und besonders dem Kurdischen zu beschäftigen. Isabella Bêrîvan ist verheiratet und hat zwei Kinder, sie ist Grundschullehrerin und arbeitet derzeit an ihrem ersten Gedichtband in Kurdisch-Deutscher Sprache.
