Marne Ventura is the author of more than seventy books for children, including fiction, nonfiction, and educational content as well as magazine stories for children in Highlights for Children, Fun for Kidz, Boy's Quest , and Spider. She is the owner of Ventura Educational Systems, which creates educational technology and instructional software apps for K–12 schools, colleges, and government training facilities. She is an experienced classroom teacher for all subjects grades K–7, psycho-motor program, and gifted education. Ventura holds a masters degree in reading and language development from the University of California. As a seminar leader she has assisted many teachers in learning about the educational opportunities that can be derived from the use of technology. She resides in Nipomo, California.
