Phil Benson is a Professor in the Department of Linguistics and Modern Language Studies, and Director of the Centre for Popular Culture in the Humanities at the Hong Kong Institute of Education. Alice Chik is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at City University of Hong Kong.
