Autorenporträt
The author has received numerous accolades and honours for his work as an educator and coach. In 2021 he was named Outstanding School Leader by Manitoba's Excellence in Education Awards for his "leadership style and professional dedication that is centred on the dignity, value and potential of every student and staff member." Commemorating Manitoba's 150th anniversary he was awarded the Honour 150 in 2020 for outstanding contributions to the well-being of his community. He received the Manitoba Band Associations Outstanding Administrator Award in 2020, was inducted into the Manitoba High School Athletic Association's Hall of Fame in 2019 and received the Manitoba Reading Association's Crocus Award for Literacy in 2015. Michael Babb lives in Manitoba with his wife of 43 years, Cathy. He enjoys coaching and watching his two adult children, David and Kelly, pursue their dreams. He also enjoys time with his grandchildren as they grow and learn about this world.
