Autorenporträt
The author has brought to life the charming New Zealand Character 'Riwi the Kiwi' who transports children aged 3-8 on three fun learning adventures. Subsequently, she has written four more hilarious children's stories: Bad Nana, The Mansion Rats, Lilla Gorilla, and There Was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shed. Apart from Bad Nana, the stories are rhyming, which the author has been told is a dying art. Throughout her teenage and adult years she wrote limericks in birthday cards for friends and family; usually corny and sometimes a bit rude, but always achieved the intended effect - a laugh from the recipient. Lilla Nicholas-Holt lives in New Zealand's far north, and has three adult children and two grandchildren.
