Professor Sam Wass is Professor of Early Years Neuroscience at the University of East London. He has written over 100 academic publications, all in leading international scientific journals. He runs the BabyDevLab at UEL hosting a variety of nationally and internationally funded research projects and has appeared regularly on screen in five series of the multi-award-winning The Secret Life of 4- and 5-Year-Olds for Channel 4. Dr Gemma Goldenberg is a researcher, teacher, writer and speaker with two decades of experience working in schools and nurseries, with a particular focus on outdoor learning and the impact of learning environments. She leads training, runs workshops and gives lectures and webinars at various online and face to face events. She was previously the Assistant Headteacher in charge of CPD at a large 4-form entry school in Newham, London and has an MSc in Psychology.
