the truth about letting go of someone you really love is you don't. you simply don't. you may accept the fact that the past will not change just because you want it to. you may forget the way your name slipped so easily yet so beautifully from their lips. you may want them to have a future full of luck without wishing it would be with you. you may sit down on your favorite spot where you first kissed no longer thinking of them.you may see them at a party or in a coffee-shop and all you do is nod at each other and walk by.but letting go - and i mean letting go in all of its implications - would mean letting go of all the memories and all the pieces they've left in you too. and just because you no longer want them in your life or accept the fact that this is not possible anymore you don't erase them from your mind. you can't. so the truth about letting go is you don't - you just learn to live a life without them and maybe you'll be happy with it.the way our hearts broke is a collection of thoughts that turned into poetry. it's about heartache and letting go. about love and loss.
