Cynthia Bohannon-Brown, the self-appointed "Queen of Transitions", has had a life filled with changes. She has lived in four different U.S. States and attended 9 different schools from elementary through college. Cynthia has earned four degrees in the areas of: Culinary Arts, Hotel, Restaurant, Travel Administration, Early Childhood Education, and Educational Leadership. For more than three decades, Cynthia has built a solid foundation of experiences in many different fields. She has worked for several well-known companies, including Six Flags over Georgia, Delta Airlines, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the University of Georgia, Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), and Marriott Hotels to name only a few of them. She became a certified Georgia teacher in 1997 and has taught elementary school in two states and in 5 different school systems. Cynthia has worked with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, including students in Special Education and ESOL (English to Speakers of Other Languages) programs. To date, Cynthia's most rewarding career has been as an elementary teacher. In that position, she has empowered students to become independent learners and critical thinkers. She plans to continue helping students make their own smooth transitions in school and in life as an educator, author, and inspirational speaker.
