Christina Dodd

Christina Dodd liebte bereits in ihrer Kindheit das Lesen. Nach ihrem College-Abschluss arbeitete sie als technische Zeichnerin in einer Ingenieur-Firma. Wahrend der Pausen las sie haufig romantische Geschichten und dachte sich alternative Enden aus. Nachdem 1980 ihre Tochter Shannon geboren wurde, entschloss sie zu Hause zu bleiben und mit dem Schreiben zu beginnen. In den nachsten zehn Jahren schrieb sie drei Geschichten, wahrend sie nebenbei in einem Buchladen arbeitete. Nach der Veroffentlichung ihres Buches "Candle in the Window" gewann sie den "Golden Heart Award" der "Romance Writers of America". Mittlerweile wurden auch andere Romane vielfach ausgezeichnet u. a. mit dem 'America's Golden Heart' und dem 'RITA Award'. Ihre Bucher stehen regelma?ig auf diversen amerikanischen Bestsellerlisten. Die Autorin lebt mit ihrem Mann und den beiden Kindern in Texas.
