A first book, as I understand it... strange, dreamlike, also informative from the writer´s point of view of coming to a foreign country. All experiences were not good, but the writer seems to have a knack to see the rosy picture in things. I appreciated this and her colorful, almost surreal descriptions. A very unique, and enjoyable read, overall.
