By far the best book when it comes to getting into the topic of “machine learning” and getting the necessary depth to continue research independently. Of course, on a little more than 100 pages, the mathematical depth can not be achieved as in the book of Goodfellow et al. Even in terms of practical application, books like this by Géron or even Chollet bribe when it comes to specific application of different frameworks. But when it comes to participating in an auditorium of data analysts and users of machine learning or deep learning algorithms in the shortest possible time (10 hours), the book is simply unbeatable.
