schlecht

In the last time I have read a book, which is called “Nice Work” by David Lodge:
David Lodge’s book “Nice Work” is a novel, which plays in the 1980s. It is about Roberta Ann Penrose, a temporary English lecturer at the university of Rummidge. She is a specialist of the 19th century industrial novel. Because of a project at the university, she is connect with Vic Wilcox, the managing director of “Pringle and Sons Casting and Engineering”. This project is called “Industry Year Shadow Scheme”.
Later they have had an affair, but Vic grows closer to his wife and family again. In my opinion the book is a bit sober and the whole story drag on. The language of the author not very exalted, so that everyone can understand the book at least some parts. I think the characters aren’t very interesting and after a while it became boring to read the book. It would be better, if the author would came to an end earlier so that the book wouldn’t be so ropy.
The book is boring and not interesting and there are no interesting parts in the book. So for all people who want to buy the book “Nice Work” I advise don’t buy it! After some time you will stop reading, because it is so boring. Don’t waste 10€!
