The book "Deep Water" by Caroline Gardiner is a horror story about a boy called Henry. He is 16 years old and still cannot swim. He lives near Arkanaw by the lake. When his class makes a trip to the dam Henry and his friend Alive (the girl he is in love with), the two are involved in a real horror scenario.
The book, however, starts quite harmless but in the middle of the story it is a bit frightening and the end is really surprising.
I recommend reading this book because it is exciting AND scary. Although some of things in the book are really a it exaggerated, it is still worth reading!!!!! (Julia D.)
