To quote Dr. Gibson at the end of the introduction, "..I know you've suspected much of what you are about to read, and I'm here to tell you that you were right all along-"
This book helps to resolve the inner conflict that this type of family relationship can cause. By learning about your options, you can accept the situation and move on.
I am usually sceptical of self-help books but heard Dr. Gibson on a podcast and decided to buy this book. It was worth it.

This book was obviously not edited. The grammar is at times very bad. This distracts from the content and the reader begins to wonder whether the content is accurate.
I suggest proofreading, correcting the grammar and improving the writing in general.

I think I am going to read a different book on the same subject. Too bad because the content seems to be what a beginner needs to know.
