Eye-Opener "Desert Flower"

The book "Desert Flower" by Waris Dirie is obviously an eye-opener for everyone on the world who read it.
Circumcision is indeed a global issue because there are 140 million women who felt the pain of Female Genital Mutiliation (FGM). One of them is Waris Dirie. Because of the pain and other results of the circumcision she was immediately going to fight it.
Desert Flower should be a book which everybody can use to get knowledge about this so-called tradition.
Waris Dirie opened my eyes, because before I knew not enough facts about female mutilation but now I can understand why we should support education about FGM.
