Rezensionen
'...Abby should be congratulated in rendering accessible for new and experienced applicants the appropriate steps to follow in submitting plausible, innovative, and value for money proposals. Resisting catch-all, simplistic prescriptions for success, the book highlights the essential elements of a successful research application drawing from the experience of many leading academic researchers in the UK. In my judgement this book will be invaluable to both experienced and new researchers. ' Professor Peter Nolan, Leeds University, UK. 'This accessible book demystifies gaining funding for your research projects. New researchers should read it because it articulates the informal 'rules' behind the funding process. ... Experienced researchers will find this book a useful read too, not least because it presents advice on how to lead programmes of research successfully...It takes you beyond getting a grant in the first place, to completing a successful research project, which in turn means that you're better placed to win future funding.' Professor Rosalind Edwards, London South Bank University, UK
