David Krüger wurde 1983 in Hamburg geboren und wuchs in einer rauen Nachbarschaft auf, wo er schon früh mit den Schattenseiten des Lebens konfrontiert wurde. Schon als Kind zog es ihn zu düsteren Geschichten und unheimlichen Erzählungen, die er in den Wäldern und dunklen Ecken der Stadt suchte. Nach der Schule arbeitete er in verschiedenen Berufen - vom Handwerker bis hin zum Nachtwächter - was ihm einen breiten Erfahrungshorizont und die nötige Inspiration für seine düsteren Erzählungen gab.
