Yvonne Blackwood is the author of Into Africa: A Personal Journey (2000 & 2020), Will That be Cash or Cuffs? (2005), Into Africa: the Return (2009), Nosey Charlie Comes to Town (2018), Nosey Charlie Goes to Court (2018), Nosey Charlie Chokes on a Wiener (2018), and College Life of a Retired Senior (2023). Yvonne worked in the financial industry for many years and was a bank manager and account manager for several small and medium-sized businesses during her career.
