Florian Hoffmann ist Gründer von The DO, der globalen Plattform für eine neue Wirtschaft, die nachhaltig, innovativ und gerecht ist. Seine Mission ist es, Menschen und Unternehmen zu befähigen, wirtschaftlichen Erfolg und neue Lösungen für die Probleme unserer Zeit gemeinsam zu denken und umzusetzen. The Do arbeitet international mit Sitz in Berlin, Hong Kong und New York. Das Weltwirtschaftsforum zeichnete Florian für seine Arbeit als einen von 100 Young Global Leaders unter vierzig aus. Florian sitzt im Aufsichtsrat des World Future Council, ist Fellow des Tribeca Disruptive Innovation Awards und Juror beim mit einer Million Dollar dotierten Global Teacher Prize. Er studierte an der Universität Oxford, der Duke University, Bard College und Humboldt Universität. Mit seiner Frau und seiner Tochter lebt er zur Zeit in Berlin.
