Among the prominent issues bothering on growing up in Nigeria today is that of sexual harassment on teenagers. This problem of sexual harassment is common to both boys and girls in our society today, which if not handled well can affect their lives negatively in later adult life. In Nigerian, the term sexual harassment is the continuum of behavior ranging from unwanted touch, verbal intimidation, unwanted kiss, deception, drugging, attempted rape, rape, to cultural expectations that require girls to marry and sexually service men against their will. Socio - cultural factors dictate the varying responses therefore the right data on sexual harassment in Nigeria is most times not given by the parties involved. Due to the sensitive nature of and the stigma attached to the subject, the true picture is hardly gotten.
